basics
- both an ic and ooc contact post should be in your journal - please backdate these! at this time, we're not asking for writing examples. please clear your journal of other communities when you apply - it keeps things tidy! also, no noembed codes in your ui, please: keeping your friends list up to date is a huge part of activity.
- all celebrities must be 18+, for obvious reasons! your journal name should be character name, without numbers, nicknames, excessive underscores, etc. no ooc usernames please. celebs should be easily findable via a simple google search. two celebs per player, maximum, please!
activity
- update your friends lists, please. out of date by 4 weeks puts you up for override and you'll be removed during the next round - plus, you'll miss out on fun stuff. we'd like to see your face on the friends page once every 2 weeks - you can use a placeholder entry, but the next one must be interactive: instagram, ffa, lyrics/questions, anything that you can think of that's social. if you'd like to write a more traditional journal entry, that's fine too! seriously, standards here are pretty much just "be around."
overrides et al
- overrides are allowed - please reach out to us about them. overrides are acceptable with a couple criteria: they are not on hiatus and either haven't introduced themselves during the 4 day period, haven't updated in 4 weeks, or their friends list is outdated by 4 weeks.
- all applications are evaluated individually.
if you're rejected, we'll do our best to let you know why. we want this to be a welcoming place that won't turn you down for not having the "right" layout or the "right" icons, though we're happy to help with aesthetics if you like! just leave a message in the dropbox and one of us will contact you.
if you don't receive a message as to the reason for your rejection, please reach out - we're doing our best, and sometimes we miss things.
hiatus & extensions
- extensions are evaluated on a case by case basis, though we're pretty much no questions asked - if you need a break, you need a break, and it isn't our business as to why. generally speaking, if you're not using this to camp on a character for weeks at a time without an end in sight, we're cool! just keep us updated and in the loop.
stuff you should already know
- we suggest having anon turned off, for obvious reasons. no crossing the ic/ooc line, don't harass anyone, don't be a butt, don't plagiarize stuff. it's literally the easiest part of your day to not be a jerk, and we expect you to be excellent to each other. seriously! that's it!
assorted other things
- adds & removals are on tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays. at least one of us is available daily, so we'll try to get to anything in the dropbox asap.
